Low cost Kelvin Probe assemblies plug directly into our positioners, no adapter needed.
Image at left shows a typical probe assembly. Insert shows drop down of tips,conta cting device under test at about 45 degrees.
Next image shows installation into one of our micropositioners Just move the thumbscrew into vertical position and insert the probe arm into the mounting bracket of the positioner.
Or you could create a 90 degree bend on the positioner side. That would allow for additional vertical adjustment at the expense of some reach.
Distance between magnetic base plate and sharp end of the tips is with positioner (x-axis in center position):

• PSEM700 82 mm
• PSEM050 87 mm
• PSEM005 95 mm
